Junghyun Lim completed the 121 km route with 9100 meters of altitude difference in 21h14'32". Together with him, two other Korean athletes climbed onto the podium, Chang Sik Choi (22h24'09") and Sung Jin Jang (23h13'22").
In the women's category, victory for Sunyeon Lee in 27h15'18" ahead of Yonok Song (28h14'02") and Ji-Ho Hwang (28h38'28").
The event which took place from 27 to 29 October included a total of 5 races involving more than 1550 athletes from all over the world.
The race was developed as a single route connecting the nine peaks of Yeongnam Alps - Ganwolsan, Goheonsan, Munboksan, Gajisan, Unmunsan, Tienhwangsan, Jaeyaksan, Yeongchuksan and Sinbulsan - offering Korea's best difficulty and natural scenery.
Hightrail Nine Peaks Ulju is Korea's representative trail competition and festival to promote Korea's nature and culture to the world.
